Audience Research Methods.

Two ways to gather research are Qualitative and Quantitative.

Qualitative.

Qualitative research is based on numbers and mostly based with facts and real stories and experiences which have happened around the world.

I would use qualitative research if i was looking on finding facts of a specific story or anything which i needed real factorial research.

Quantitive.

Quantitive research is mostly based on a personal response and feeing. It tends to go into more detail than qualitative research and is based on a persons opinion more than facts and real events.

If I wanted to create something which was not based on on complete facts and was able to use research on peoples opinions and feelings then I would use the quantitive research method.

Also two other ways of data is Primary data and Secondary data.

Primary

Primary data is where you collect the data yourself and gather it into a document together. One easy way to collect information is to create a social questionnaire for other people to answer and share there thoughts.

Secondary

Secondary data is where you gather information for an already given profile of information. The questionnaire has already been created for you to use and take the information from it.

  1. Jamie, I know you have been off sick but you need to make sure that you are amaking an effort to catch up on all of your work. You need to make sure you look at Mr McCann's blog to get the work off there when you are sick, that is why we do the blogs and go to the effort of making sure as we deliver work we supply a checklist of what you need to do. If you are unsure of anything you can leave a comment or you need to go and see your teacher to make sure you can complete the work. The last thing you need is to fall behind. Be honest and put a blog post up indicating that you have been sick and this has affected some of your blog posts but you need to address making the rest more interesting too.
